Every OnlyKids figurine comes in one of three finishes, and behind each name is a genuinely different machine and process.
Classic: single-color matte (FDM and resin)
The friendly entry point. Your figurine is printed in one solid color with a smooth matte surface, then hand finished. It reads as sculpture: think of a small monument of someone you love. Best for: gifts, desk pieces, and our pale blush-pink baby keepsakes.
Artist: hand-painted resin (SLA)
SLA resin printing captures very fine detail: buttons, laces, strands of hair. Our artists then paint each piece by hand. The result has a warm, crafted character, no two are perfectly identical. Best for: kids and memorial pieces where a hand-made feel matters.
Signature: full-color PolyJet (Stratasys J750)
This is the technology that makes people say it looks just like them. The J750 prints over 500,000 colors inside the material itself, not painted on top, with 14-micron layers. Skin gradients, fabric patterns, a dog’s brindle coat: all reproduced directly from your photos. Best for: baby sculptures, family portraits, and anywhere likeness is the whole point.
Which one should you pick?
If budget leads, Classic. If character leads, Artist. If likeness leads, Signature. Every finish includes the same digital preview and approval process, so you always see the model before we print it.
