Ninety percent of figurine quality is decided before we ever open our sculpting software. It is decided by the photos you send. The good news: a phone camera is completely enough if you follow five rules.
1. Three angles of the face
Front, left profile, right profile. These three let our artists reconstruct the true geometry of the face instead of guessing half of it.
2. One full-body photo in the pose you want
Standing, sitting, mid-laugh, holding a ball: the figurine will match this pose, so pick one you love.
3. Natural light, no filters
Daylight near a window beats any lamp. Filters shift skin tones and smooth details we actually need. Send the unedited originals.
4. No hats, no sunglasses
Anything covering the head or eyes forces us to invent what is underneath. If glasses are part of their look, send one photo with and one without.
5. Sharp beats pretty
A slightly boring but sharp photo is worth more to us than a beautiful blurry one. Zoom in on your photo first: if the eyelashes are a smudge, take another.
For pets
Same idea, three photos: front, side, and back, so we capture every marking. Daylight again.
